JROTC Cadet Leadership Challenge (JCLC) & STEM Camp

Cadets spent one week at Camp Parks, Dublin participating in the JROTC Cadet Leadership Challenge (JCLC). They spent their time applying what they learned in the classroom to activities. Cadets practiced leadership, followership, Land Navigation, team building, winning colors, rope bridge, rope tying, and explored careers through excursions. They built camaraderie within assigned companies and platoons led by cadets.

This year, the SF JROTC Brigade introduced a STEM curriculum to JCLC. Cadets used the engineering process to design, build, and code for a lego boat to complete various missions. They then created posters outlining their STEM endeavors and presented them to sponsors and JROTC supporters. Cadets were challenged and inspired through meaningful experiences and created memories of a lifetime.
